この度、2026年7月24日（金）から8月4日（火）まで、韓国・済州島の Bumi Gallery にて開催される、D.D ART主催のグループ展「Wave to Us」に参加いたします。

本展には、韓国の現地アーティスト陣に加え、日本からはわたくし、中屋敷智生と、京都・大原野スタジオよりベ・サンスンさんが参加いたします。

Wave to Us

波は決して一つでは訪れません。

小さな波が次の波と出会い、大きな海へと広がっていくように、芸術もまた、一人の心がもう一人の心と響き合い、新たな感動を生み出します。

「Wave to Us」は、それぞれ異なる時間と場所を歩んできた作家たちが、芸術という共通の言葉を通して、互いに温かな挨拶を交わす場です。京都・大原野スタジオで育まれた大切なご縁と、済州島の風を感じながら創作を続ける作家たちが集い、それぞれ異なる人生や表現の中に、創作への情熱と芸術への真摯な想いを作品に込め、皆様と分かち合います。

私たちは、芸術とは競い合うものではなく、共感を育み、ともに創り上げていく美しい波であると信じています。この出会いが、より深い交流と新たな創造へとつながり、かけがえのないご縁となることを願っています。

I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in the group exhibition “Wave to Us,” organized by D.D ART, which will be held at Bumi Gallery on Jeju Island, South Korea, from Friday, July 24, 2026, to Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
In addition to local Korean artists, participants from Japan include myself, Tomoo Nakayashiki, and Ms. Bae Sa-sun from Oharano Studio in Kyoto.
I am very much looking forward to the new encounters and exchanges that will arise amidst Jeju Island’s rich nature and culture. If you are in the area, I would be delighted if you could stop by.

Just as small waves meet the next wave and spread out into the vast ocean, art, too, resonates from one heart to another, creating new emotions.
“Wave to Us” is a space where artists—each having walked their own paths through different times and places—exchange warm greetings through the common language of art. Artists who continue to create while feeling the winds of Jeju Island, along with those who have cultivated precious connections at the Oharano Studio in Kyoto, gather here to share their works with you. Through their diverse life experiences and forms of expression, they infuse their pieces with a passion for creation and a sincere devotion to art.
We believe that art is not a competition, but rather a beautiful wave that fosters empathy and is created together. We hope that this encounter will lead to deeper exchanges and new creative endeavors, forming irreplaceable bonds.
